Overview:
Higher Ed University is seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer networks, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role is crucial to supporting the institution's technological infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current network infrastructure and design solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Configure and maintain network components including PAN Firewalls, Aruba switches, and Cisco Concentrator.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard against cyber threats.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred Industry certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network , or JNCIA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.
• Palo Alto Networks
